The Best Coffee for Beer Geek Breakfast

Posted by Ivica Cvetanovski on

At Nøgne Ø, one of the premier and multi multi-awarded micro beer breweries in Norway, they like extremes. They realized that it was time to do what was possible  to make Beer Geek Breakfast. They decided to brew a Mikkeller.

The search for the another touch of coffee took them to the remote island of Store Torungen http://www.torungen-fyr.no/

At this Nøgne Ø (a Norwegian word for naked island) there heard about some enthusiasts who had acquired a coffee roaster and that the coffee is traceable right down to the individual farmer.

After the roasting of an Indian Monsoon Malabar, we had lunch in the lighthouse keeper's house.
