On Green Economy in Coffee Trade

On Green Economy in Coffee Trade

Our work is observed and got caught by Yale University on Climate Neutral Network on October 5, 2010.

The Climate Neutral Network (CN Net) is an initiative of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) for the showcasing of strategies and initiatives to reduce carbon footprint, promoting the global transition to low-carbon economies and societies.

The city of Arendal on Norway’s south coast is a serious contender for the title of world capital of climate neutrality. Arendal aims at becoming the hub of a wide network of businesses, sporting bodies and even music festivals that have adopted climate initiatives.

We highly appreciate being credited for our plan and set milestones for the future to come in respect to pioneering transparency in trade, pricing and quality grading.

The excerpt is as follows:

Coffea Circulor (company), Norway

Coffea Circulor imports high quality coffee to Scandinavia. Situated in Arendal, Norway, Coffea Circulor's mission is to carry out coffee trading on the principle of the triple bottom line - people, planet and profit. The company works directly with farmers in Kenya and Uganda to ensure sustainability, transparency, and the empowerment of local farmers and the community. The company seeks clients and partners who share the company's philosophy of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
