This formula renders a sweet, crisp, vibrant and refreshing tea-like result.
- Open the sealed coffee bag/container gracefully.
- No need to use paper filters.
- Coffee cherry: 20g.
- Water: 300g @ 93°C
- Using immersion techniques, insert the coffee cherry into your server and pour the water directly into the server.
- If your server has a lid, place it on top of the server to enable to retain all aromatics in the serving vessel.
- Switch on your timer and let the coffee cherry immerse for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, use a spoon (preferably plastic) to not damage a glass server, and press gently on the coffee cherries to enable them to release a bit more of their juice.
- If possible, use a tea strainer or alike to catch any cherries while pouring the resulting beverage into a pre-heated cup.
- Allow yourself to also make an additional immersion where the coffee cherries will release less flavor in this immersion, however use half the amount of water.
At your convenience, add a small amount of honey to the brewed beverage.
During summer days, make a brew, let it cool down, store in the fridge. At your convenience, bring out and pour over a set of ice cubes and serve. Honey can also be added with slightly increased dosage than in the warm beverage.
